John Gay Yoh is the author of a series of four annotated bibliographies on Christianity in East Africa which were published by the Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies (RIIFS) in Amman, Jordan, while Yoh was a research associate there. The four volumes present detailed introductions to the history of Christian missions in each of the countries covered, followed by annotated lists of published and unpublished works dealing with Christian missionary work and written in various languages. Covering Sudan, Ethiopia and Eritrea, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi, and Kenya, the series is an invaluable source for researchers, students and others interested in the history of Christianity in East Africa. Yoh was a research asociate at RIIFS from 1997 to 2003 and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Political Sciences at the University of South Africa in Pretoria.
