His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of RIIFS, presided over the ceremony of signing the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between RIIFS and the Sheikh Nahyan Center for Arabic Studies and Intercultural Dialogue at the University of Balamand (UOB).

Al-Azhar AL-Sharif witnessed on Monday 21 December 2015 the signing of a cooperation agreement in the scientific, cultural and logistical fields between the “Al Azhar Observatory for Foreign Languages” and RIIFS.

The Agreement stipulates cooperation between the two parties on endeavoring to lay down a unified strategy for rectifying distortions and creating awareness among youth of the dangers of extremist thought, and to face the issues which Islam encounters and responding to the attempts to distort its tolerant teachings.

The Director of RIIFS, Dr. Majeda Omar, and the Director of Adyan institute in Lebanon, Dr. Naela Tabbara, signed a cooperation agreement between the two institutions in the academic, religious, cultural and civilizational fields. 

The Agreement includes cooperation in the fields relating to dialogue, understanding between the adherents of religions and various cultures, religious pluralism, citizenship that incubates diversity, the entrenchment of common human and ethical values, and confronting extremism of all forms.

In the presence of HRH Prince EL Hassan Bin Talal Chairman of the Board of Trustees of RIIFS, a partnership agreement was signed at the headquarters of the Muhammadiyah Association of Scholars   in Rabat, between RIIFS and the Muhammadiyah Association of Scholars in the Kingdom of Morocco, which was signed by the Secretary General of the Muhammadiyah Association of Scholars, Dr. Ahmad Abbadi, and Dr. Majeda Omar the Director of the Royal Institute for Interfaith Studies (RIIFs).

News of the University of Jordan (NUJ), Zakaria Al-Ghoul - The University of Jordan signed today with RIIFS an academic Cooperation Agreement in the religious, cultural and civilizational fields. 

The University president Dr. Ikhleif Tarawneh signed the agreement on behalf of the university, and Dr. Majeda Omar signed on behalf of the Institute in the presence of representatives of the two sides. 

The Agreement seeks to bolster joint cooperation and to develop it by available means in the fields relating to dialogue and harmony between the adherents of the various religions and cultures, and to also entrench human and moral values.
